KL Sports City (KLSC) development is a large regeneration project aimed to transform an existing stadium and sports complex into a world-class integrated sports city. It will host many of Malaysia’s major sports events and will cater to multiple usages with commercial, retail and residential components. The goal is to upgrade and prepare the stadium and facilities for the 2017 SEA Games which is an extremely aggressive timeline which RPM played a major role in helping the Client to achieve.
Phase 1 of the project focus primarily on the Bukit Jalil Stadium regeneration which includes track resurfacing, VIP boxes, digital scoring system, façade, office facilities, M&E facilities etc, Other works in Phase 1 include upgrades on Putra Stadium, Hockey stadiums, Aquatic center, infrastructure and utilities, carpark and plaza.
